It was highlighted that the leisure, military and security markets had a need for static observation surveillance. The demand in the industry was identified by SE products and a partnership with Heber was initiated.

Solution

Developed by SE Products Ltd, in Devon, the “i-Vu” high-level camera surveillance system places a high-resolution Sony camera on top of a retractable mast to feed images of the distant scene to twin display screens below. The system operator can rotate, focus and zoom the camera into the surveillance scene and then has the option to print out images or transmit them via Bluetooth to another location.

i-Vu incorporates a Heber Nucleus N500 Atom-powered single-board PC controller, with inbuilt I/O, and a Sony camera with 36x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom feature inside a secure metal cabinet. Perfect for mobile surveillance or static observation, i-Vu has a wide range of possible applications within the surveillance, military or leisure markets.
