Smart Card Driver

The Smart Card driver provides low level access to the Smart Card slot. The interface supports 3V ISO7816 compliant Smart Cards using the T1 protocol defined in ISO 7816.

The Axis kernel driver provides an interface with facilities to control the Smart Card:

• clock/enable
• reset lines
• basic read write operations.

Heber provides a user space library that interfaces with the Muscle Smart Card library to offer a high level Smart Card API.
