New Heber X4i Gaming I/O Module on show at COIN-OP
At this year’s Autumn Coin-op Show at the Chelsea football ground, Heber will be demonstrating its latest X4i multiple I/O gaming module.
The X4i I/O module complements entry-level PC gaming platforms running Linux or Windows by providing additional serial ports and a number of general purpose inputs and outputs via a single USB connection. The X4i is ideal for simple networked gaming machines or for expanding the functionality of current systems.
Available to buy online, the X4i provides four full RS232 serial ports for connection to serial peripherals. A single SPI port is available that can be used to control serial LED lighting to enhance the visual impact of the gaming machine. In addition to the serial interfaces, 16 open drain outputs and 16 general purpose inputs are provided for interfacing with switches and LEDs.
Come and see the X4i at the Autumn Coin-Op show (Stand #5) at the Chelsea football ground on 12th and 13th October, and email Simon Rose for information. Visit the X4i product page here.
