A mark of Heber’s of quality

ISO 9001:2015

Heber has been an ISO 9001 company since 1996. We use SGS, an internationally recognised auditor to ensure we maintain our design and manufacturing capability to the highest standard.

ISO 9001 is the international Standard for Quality Management. It is part of the ISO 9000 family of Quality Management Standards and is used by over 1 million businesses today. It delivers a system of continual improvement that is driven by your customers’ needs. This leads to cost savings, improved efficiencies and greater consistency of service deliverables.

ISO 9001:2015 is the most recent version of the 9001 standard available today. It is periodically reviewed by the ISO to meet changing stakeholder expectations and technology developments.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013

Heber Limited produces many thousands of control systems each year and is committed to minimising the impact of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment during the product life times and when they become waste.

The WEEE Regulations places responsibility for proper collection of products at the end of their useful lives on companies that manufacture, sell, or distribute electrical or electronic equipment to or within the European Union. As a supplier to other manufacturers (OEM Customers), Heber products are exempt from the marking and collection requirements of the directive. Heber Evaluation Kits are classed as monitoring and control instruments and are also exempt.

Heber Limited takes the care of the environment very seriously and we will assist our customers wherever possible to fully comply with the regulations imposed by the directive. Until further notice, Heber will offer a recycling and disposal service for all of our products.

Items to be returned should be delivered carriage paid to our facility in the UK, clearly identified as intended for proper disposal.

The Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive 2015/863

Heber Limited is committed to supplying RoHS compliant products to all its customers from the 1st July 2006 with the following possible exceptions:

  • New boards supplied to customers who have told us they do not require compliance.
  • Repaired (or replacements for) faulty boards that were not RoHS compliant when new.

Heber has taken, and will continue to take all reasonable precautions to ensure all components and processes used in the manufacture of its products comply with the directive.
